Privacy Policy
What stays on your device, what is downloaded, and what website hosting or future ads may observe.
Local video and image processing
When you select a file, this application reads it inside your browser. It does not send selected videos or images, decoded frames, audio, output files or filenames to a processing server. There is no video-upload endpoint. The original file is not overwritten by processing. A direct-save destination is chosen by you through the browser.
Decoded media and the result use temporary memory. Selecting another video or image, or leaving the page releases the application’s references and object URLs. Browser and operating-system memory reclamation may not be immediate. A saved or downloaded result remains on your disk until you remove it. No selected media is written into localStorage, IndexedDB or the service-worker cache.
Website requests and caches
The browser downloads HTML, scripts, styles, icons and the selected model weights. Your hosting provider can receive ordinary connection data such as IP address, request URL, user agent and request time. The installed app may cache public website assets and model files; it excludes non-GET requests, video files and Blob URLs. Clearing browser site data removes these caches. This policy is not a claim of zero network activity.
Public usage counters
The homepage shows shared page-view and completed-video totals automatically, without tracking cookies or persistent visitor IDs. The counter request contains only an event type and a random event ID, never a filename, media, page URL or persistent visitor identifier. Cloudflare handles the request and can see normal connection information. Our D1 database stores aggregate totals and event IDs for duplicate prevention; event IDs are removed after seven days on subsequent writes. Aggregates remain public. These are approximate usage counts, not unique people or independently verified completions. Reading the public counters makes a normal website request but does not increment them.
Analytics, advertising and support
Google Analytics has been removed. Our automatic first-party counters use no analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Previous Google Analytics data remains subject to the Google account retention settings and Google privacy policy. The application removes the host-only analytics cookies and saved consent preference from the retired integration when a page opens. Advertising is disabled. Any future third-party analytics or advertising requires updated disclosures and appropriate consent handling.
If you choose to email support, your email provider and the recipient process that message separately from local upscaling. Send no private media. The operator and contact address are shown below.
